Reviews Overview

Most Liked

Customers rave about the comforting and flavorful variety offered on the menu. The standout dishes include the chicken croquettes, which are crispy on the outside and lavishly creamy inside, and the perfectly spiced Andalusian fish bites. Patrons also appreciate the freshness of the vegetarian paella, which surprises even the pickiest eaters, and enjoy the soothing crunch of the broccoli and cauliflower fritas. Reviewer comments highlight the welcoming nature of the owners, with many expressing joy in the friendly service received. The pricing is also a hit, as customers find the value enticing, especially considering the quality of the dishes.

Another aspect that steals hearts is the commitment to sustainability with recyclable packaging that reflects a growing community-conscious trend.

Most Disliked

While the experience is generally positive, some customers express challenges with the mobile nature of El Raco de las Tapas. Finding the trailer can be a hit-or-miss, as locations change frequently, necessitating careful checking of their Facebook updates. A few diners mention occasional waits during peak times, particularly as the food is cooked to order, which can extend preparation times. Additionally, while the menu is diverse, some wish for more variety, particularly around seafood dishes despite already having options like prawns and fish bites. As is typical in any food setting, especially a mobile one, diners looking for sit-down service might feel the experience differs from traditional restaurants.

Wow! Wow! Wow! I have tried this food twice and never been disappointed. From placing the order, speaking with David & Lily, watching the food freshly cooked and then to enjoy the mouthwatering flavours is just outstanding! Highly recommend and will definitely call again soon! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We visited the van in Garmouth tonight and ordered 4 dishes - the chicken croquettes and the Andalusian fish bites were particularly good! Plus the crispy broccoli and cauliflower is the best way to get us to eat veg 😁 Traveling tapas is a great idea and we'll look out for you again because there are plenty more dishes to try!

Sizzling scrumptious sides. I've been twice now and each time had a great eating experience. The food is fresh, crispy and packed with flavour. I can almost feel the a Andalusian atmosphere as chomp into these fine bites. Great to see something a bit different in our area and will be back for more. Highly recommend. Ps great touch using recyclable materials to pack the food.

Whilst spending a few days in Hopeman, we looked up places to eat online and were intrigued by this place..tapas...in Burghead?! We took a drive over and were surprised how quiet it was. After eating there, we are amazed at how quiet it was! The food was absolutely excellent (we were recently in Majorca, and the tapas here beat Majorcan tapas hands down !) We ordered a selection of dishes and they were all excellent - fresh, tasty and imaginative. Our kids are picky eaters so we were surprised at their enthusiasm, they absolutely loved the patas bravas, chicken wings, paella and beer battered prawns. After our feast we went back for churros and they were also a hit! Lovely friendly service and excellent value. Go and try it, you won't regret it!!

Fabulous, fresh and authentic Spanish food for a very reasonable price. I would go so far as to say this is the best Spanish food I've had outside of Spain. Lovely folks too. This is a food truck not a restaurant! Check Facebook for their location 😊

Fantastic. Had a large selection and it was all amazing. Three of us cleared our plates and agreed it was worth every penny. Would recommend if you're in the area. Follow on FB to find where they are set up.
